Asakusa Tori-no Ichi (Fair)

Nov. 5 (Wed.), 17 (Mon.), & 29 (Sat.), 2008

Held on the days of the rooster in November, this annual fair attracts crowds who look for kumade, or a colorful decorative rake, which is believed to "rake in" business prosperity.
200 kumade vendors gather in the precincts of the neighboring shrine and temple.
